Although I was not able to attend the clinic this weekend I still had a great weekend thanks to L.E.A.D. This weekend I took a road trip to Memphis to workout with the Lemoyne-Owens Magicians. It was a great opportunity that not many others get. I also got the chance to tour the campus of the college. Also, thanks to L.E.A.D. I had the chance to view The National Civil Rights Museum, which is located at the Lorraine Motel, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.

I had a great weekend with the Ambassadors. This weekend gave me the chance to teach boys younger than me the fundamentals of baseball. Also, the church service at Ebenezer was great. This weekend also gave me the chance to carry the rope in the King Parade, which is an honor. I can say that i was able to help conduct the parade.

Ambassador Blog: Week 1

This week as an Ambassador has been great. Tuesday we went as a group to the Jimmy Carter Center. I learned a lot about Jimmy Carter and the things he went through. I also learned that the Jimmy Carter Center helps with diseases in other countries. It was a very informative outing.

This week at L.E.A.D. was very informative and fun. We had practice as usual on Monday and Thursday. On Thursday we had straight BP. Then on Saturday we had a game against Lanier Hs. Although the game did not end well I am still satisfied with my level of play. Also, we had a very huge event today; we had our service project with the Atlanta Track Club. We split up into two groups, we had people cheering the runners on and we had a group giving the runners water. I really had a good week.
