Ambassador Blog : Week 19

Today I began the day kinda tired because lack of rest. Once arriving to the Mosley Park Recreation, where we began the 2nd Annual Inner City Youth Baseball March, My mood changed. Seeing my Ambassador family that I haven't seen in forever due to the high school season, played a major affect in my mood change. Today was an amazing day, I got to learned about a great franchise based here in Atlanta. We, the Ambassadors had a chance to tour Chic-Fil-A Headquarters. At the headquarters, we got a chance to learn the history of Chic-Fil-A. Today we began our middle school clinics at Young Middle School and B.E.S.T Academy. A good number of students came out to learn about L.E.A.D's middle school program and the program itself. It was also students who were in the program last year. So we began the clinic explaining each drill at the clinic. Today we took a trip to the CDC, the Museum Center for Disease Control and Prevention. They make a positive impact in the world. They work their hardest everyday trying to find a cure for diseases and all the troubles in daily human life. While we were there we got a chance to exhibit the epidemics the CDC dealt with during its existence. They've dealt with cures for polio and they helped eradicate smallpox, that's just to name a few.
