2012 Ambassador Week 20

May 9

Today we went Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets take on the Georgia Bulldogs. This game was outstanding. IT has me Speechless. Today i meet alot of people deadling with the baseball organization and just with The Georgia Tech campus. I hope i can get into GEorgia tech and play baseball for them.

2012 Ambassador Blog week 20

Middle School Games:    

   Through out these three months the Ambassadors and voluteers particapated in the Middle School Games. All of the game were very competative, there were very good pitching and very cluch at bats, also good plays out in the field on defense.I was surprised at the intensity that the kids played with. Ambassador Blog Week 20

Wednesday May 9

Today was our hats off event at the Georgia Tech baseball game.  The speakers that spoke to us before the game were very inspirational and were all for helping the L.E.A.D program.  Watching the game was very inspirational also becasue I will be playing college baseball next spring and watching Tech play made me want to work hard at what I do.

Ambassador Blog 2012: Week 20

Middle School Games:

           Throughout the months of March, April, and May, we, the Ambassadors, had to participate in helping out at the middle school games every Saturday.

          Each middle school game was interesting. In each game there was good pitching and hitting. Oh yeah and also great defense. Ambassador Blog 2012: GT vs. UGA Baseball Game

May 9, 2012:

           Today the middle school leaders and some of the Ambassadors had the chance of watching a Division1 college baseball game. Ambassador Blog:Week 17

May 7,2012

Today was L.E.A.D 2011-2012 first practice.Although, we got rained out, we set rules and regulations. We talked for a hour to let you know how this season will be ran. If you miss 7 events (Enrichments, games,practices,etc) you're suspended for 7 days. But, if you miss 8, you gone.

NYO league

Today was another productive day. I was fortunate enough to assist disabled children play baseball. This helped me realize that EVERYONE should get a chance to do something they like. It was a good experience and I felt like I helped someone else feel better. Another step closer to achieving my goal as a L.E.A.D Ambassador.

May 5,2012
Today was the middle school tournament. Teams Played twice but others lost out first round. The championship is bext saturday and King And Young will be in it. This will be young second time attending a championship with L.E.A.D. We hit some fungo to the middle schoolers and cleaned up some thrash .

Ambassador Blog: Week 18

Saturday April 28, 2012

Today was the 2nd Annual Inner City Baseball Youth March. We arrived at Mosley Park early that morning and took the one mile walk to Washington High School. We had plenty of laughs and good times on the way to the school. The middle schoolers had an amazing time as well. When we arrived at the school we had a celebration and we played ball. Today was beautiful.

Today was the 2nd Annual Inner City Youth Baseball March. We marched a mile, then we had a celebration. Later we have the games. We helped by hitting ground balls and pop-ups to the players. We also picked up some trash. Today was a very special day.

Today I began the day kinda tired because lack of rest. Once arriving to the Mosley Park Recreation, where we began the 2nd Annual Inner City Youth Baseball March, My mood changed. Ambassador Blog Week 19

Saturday April 28
    Today we are middle school develpment league opening ceremony.  We started off with the 2nd annual march and we ended off with a long day of baseball.  I had a great time helping all of the middle schoolers become better ballplayers.  I also was able to meet a lot of prominent figures in Atlanta such as "Red" Moore.  Today was an overall success!
